:: ABOUT WEB SITES
You probably have one. Many non-profits have good web sites, but more tend to have sites that are not necessarily well designed or well maintained. Sometimes web sites are built on grant money, but when the money is gone, resources to maintain it are slim. Often, a non-profit lacks the technical expertise to maintain even the most basic of sites. Even those who have fairly elaborate sites are likely unable to stay up with the latest innovations in web design, not to mention the World Wide Web itself.

:: SO, WHAT DO YOU DO?
Like most things, it depends. If you don’t have the resources for an inhouse designer and web master or the money to contract the work out, you will need to use web tools that allow non-technical people to build and maintain a web site. Such tools are fairly inexpensive and fairly straightforward to use.  GO DADDY has online web templates you can use to build and maintain a web site. You can host your site with GO DADDY as well for a very reasonable cost. I am not affiliated with GO DADDY but I do use a number of their services, such as hosting, domain management, e-zine development and distribution, and web design.

::THE COST?
Not much. You can purchase their online web design tool (Website Tonight) for $12.99 per month. Registering a domain name will cost you between $9.00 and $20.00 (depending on the features you purchase) per year. See. It’s affordale.
